About Growdent.

The story

We built the dental marketing agency we wanted our clients to have.

Growdent was established in 2021 by Art Zabalov and the team behind Art Does Ads.

By then, the team had already spent years managing performance marketing for companies including Microsoft, Amway, ARX Fit, and Atira. Over time, more of that work started coming from dental practices, and what often began with ads expanded into websites, landing pages, SEO, tracking, and patient acquisition as a whole.

One of the early turning points was Swish Dental. We started working with Swish when the group had 10 studios in Austin and went on to support its growth to 23 locations across three cities while helping nearly double revenue.

That experience reinforced something we were already seeing elsewhere: dental practices often had too many disconnected providers and nobody really owning the outcome.

That is why we built Growdent.

HOW WE THINK

A few things we believe about good dental marketing.

01

Results come before channels
We are not here to sell a practice every service we provide. We start with what is most likely to move growth and expand from there when the results justify it.

02

Everything affects everything else
An ad does not stop working when someone clicks it. The website, offer, reviews, booking process, follow up, and front desk can all affect whether that click eventually becomes a patient.

03

Good marketing should be measurable
Leads matter, but they are not the finish line. Whenever the systems allow it, we want to understand what happens after the inquiry, including appointments, lead quality, and the outcomes that matter to the practice.

WHY GROWDENT

What makes Growdent different.

Built differently from the typical dental marketing setup.
One connected team
Ads, SEO, AEO, websites, landing pages, creative, tracking, and conversion work are handled together rather than spread across unrelated providers.
100% dental focused
We work with dental practices and groups, so the team spends its time solving problems around patient acquisition rather than learning a new industry with every account.
Small by design
We do not want hundreds of accounts passing through layers of account managers. Clients work closely with the people making the decisions and doing the work.
In house execution
The core work stays with our team rather than disappearing into an unknown network of outsourced providers.
HIPAA conscious from the start
Privacy affects advertising, tracking, forms, analytics, reporting, and technology choices. We consider those requirements when the marketing system is being built, not after it is already running.
No channel quotas
Sometimes the answer is more advertising. Sometimes it is fixing the website, tracking, SEO, or conversion process first. We recommend the work based on the problem.
